AGREEMENTS & COMMITMENTS FOR COACHING WITH LARRY VENABLE

I WILL

  • Be a sounding board with whom you can discuss your ideas, concerns, anything.
  • Provide an outside and objective viewpoint.
  • Be your Confidant.
  • Nudge you to set specific, measurable goals
  • Hold you accountable to stay on track.   I’ll be your conscience.
  • Challenge you
  • Suggest resources for your targeted areas of improvement.
  • Mentor and support you to be your best, and help you focus on the actions necessary to achieve your goals
  • Help you clarify your values
  • Help you prepare for meetings and presentations if appropriate.

YOU WILL

  • Be completely candid about your strengths, weaknesses, hopes, dreams, and fears
  • Set two types of realistic and specific goals
    • Results Goals
    • Activity Goals
  • Apply the ideas we discuss and report back the results.
  • Prepare for our 1/1 time together
  • Take a Leadership Profile assessment
  • Grow as a leader.

WE WILL

  • Meet weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly – your decision
  • Agree on date of next meeting before finishing.
  • Honor each other’s commitment and be on time.
  • Identify and agree on areas for improvement
  • Keep our conversations completely confidential
